Unger Mountain
Located at Southwood Jr/Sr High School, Unger Mountain is a three-sided, 46-foot climbing tower with four auto belays. One side is flat and set-up for beginners, a second side has outcroppings for intermediate and advanced climbers, and the third side has a quick-jump suspended above the top platform for free-fall.
MSD of Wabash County is the first public school system in Indiana to have a climbing wall on their property. This wall is not only open to our students, but it is also open to our community. We invite groups of all sizes and types to join us at Unger Mountain - family gatherings, employee team building, club/organization fun, etc.
