School Bus Safety
School bus transportation is safe. In fact, buses are safer than cars! Even so, last year, approximately 9,000 students across the U.S. were injured in incidents involving school buses. More often than not, these injuries did not occur in a crash, but as the students were entering and exiting the bus.
To optimize the safety of our students, it is important to ensure students know proper bus safety procedures. It is equally important for our community to know and abide by all traffic policies as they encounter school buses.
