The MSD of Wabash County Food Services team aims to provide our students and staff with nutritionally-balanced meals at a reasonable cost. Our meal program follows standards set by the USDA National School Breakfast and Lunch Child Nutrition Programs.
We offer breakfast and lunch each day school is in session for in-person education at our traditional elementary schools and jr/sr high schools. We also offer a summer food program that provides weekly meals to children ages 1-18 in our MSDWC community.
Summer Food Program 2021
For the first time, MSD of Wabash County will be offering a Summer Food Program. The program will provide weekly meals free of charge for children ages 1-18 throughout the MSDWC area. Each Wednesday throughout the summer of 2021, families can pick up five-days worth of breakfasts and lunches for each child in their household that meets the age criteria.
Meals will be available on Wednesdays from 4:30 - 5:30 pm at Northfield and Southwood Jr/Sr High Schools on the east side of the building. The program begins on Wednesday, June 9 with the final pick-up date on Wednesday, July 28. Families do not need to sign up in advance for the meals.
