This spring, MSD of Wabash County’s theater department will be performing the play And Then There Were None, based on Agatha Christie’s novel of the same name. The play follows a unique cast of characters who, after being invited to an island, become stranded and begin dying one by one according to deaths described in a poem.
Northfield High School visual art students recently won a multitude of awards at the Scholastics Art and Writing Competition for pieces in a variety of art mediums.
MSD of Wabash County offers its high school students the opportunity to intern with a variety of local businesses and institutions in order for them to receive experience in the career they wish to pursue. The internship program also allows students to get a taste of their desired field so that they are able to determine whether or not they are suited for that path. Seniors from Southwood and Northfield are currently representing their schools in a variety of internships.
MSD of Wabash County traditional high schools once again are the area leaders in graduation rates for the year 2023.
Since 1865, the letterman jacket has become an iconic symbol of traditional high school. Originally exclusive to athletes, the letterman has since flourished into an homage to many groups, clubs, activities, and achievements beyond simply athletics.

Every year, the Honeywell Center gives students the opportunity to participate in their Winter Banner Competition. Students are asked to create an artwork based on that year’s theme to then be reviewed by a panel of judges for consideration for the prize of a banner.
MSDWC students earned 2008.5 college credits during the 2022-2023 school year in a wide range of options we offer to our high school students.
As an audience member, one might assume that musicals are all song and dance, literally, but any member of a cast would beg to differ. Every theatrical production teaches its cast at least one new skill that may not necessarily stand out as a learning curve. Every production requires adaptability due to unique demands. The abilities learned along the way then benefit participants later in life as they tend to have numerous applications outside of the theatrical world.
