MSDWC Traditional Schools Lead Area Graduation Rates
MSD of Wabash County is proud to announce that its traditional high schools achieved the highest graduation rates in the area for the year 2023. With an unwavering commitment to academic excellence, Southwood High School achieved an impressive graduation rate of 98.15%, while Northfield High School closely followed with a rate of 96.88%.
The combined graduation rate for Southwood and Northfield high schools stands at an outstanding 97.46%, solidifying MSD of Wabash County's position as the graduation leader among all bordering school districts.
"We are thrilled to see our students achieving such consistent success in their academic journey," said Mike Keaffaber, Superintendent of MSD of Wabash County. "These graduation rates reflect the dedication of our educators, the hard work of our students, and the support of their families."
The graduation rate mentioned does not include MSDWC’s nontraditional high school, White's Jr/Sr High, along with Bridge, an online-based credit recovery program. These students are often not able to continue at the school or through the Bridge program to the end of their high school journey. Thus, the total district combined percentage does not accurately reflect the success of the district.
The achievement underscores MSD of Wabash County's commitment to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment that empowers students to succeed. As the district continues to focus on academic excellence and student success, it remains dedicated to preparing graduates for the future of their choice.
